Our ASN program is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in nursing. To ensure the success of our students, we have established admission requirements. Find out more about our program requirements and how you can take the first step towards a fulfilling nursing career.
Embrace a Student-First Program
We have two sections for students to complete within the Fast-Track ASN Program. The first section focuses on pre-nursing, where you’ll engage in general education coursework and introductory medical studies. These foundational courses fulfill the prerequisites necessary to enter the clinical nursing phase of the program. Once you transition into the clinical nursing portion, you’ll dive into specialized nursing courses that will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for your future career. Clinicals + Labs During your program, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated clinical coach/preceptor, supervised by a clinical instructor, as you engage in intensive clinical rotations. These rotations will provide you with valuable real-world experience in various healthcare settings. Your clinical coach/preceptor, an experienced staff nurse, will guide and support you throughout your rotations, ensuring you gain the necessary skills and knowledge.
At our college, students have the flexibility to enroll and begin their studies at any time that suits their schedule. With multiple start dates offered per calendar year, you can choose the session that aligns perfectly with your academic goals.
At North Palm College, we understand the importance of your prior college experience in shaping your educational journey. That’s why we value your transcripts and use them to make informed admission decisions and evaluate transfer credits. Our goal is to award you as much transfer credit as possible, reducing both your time to graduation and the cost of your degree.
